This is Switzerland… went to StGallen and Appenzell, a small town lost in a valley, recommended by a colleague. Cool trip… StGallen, historic-cultural, Appenzell, traditional-rural, very charming. Highlights – the Cathedral in St. Gallen was AMAZING, so was the monastery library, founded in 860. Very cool the atmosphere in Appenzell, too. Pics here.
